Nope, this is not a typical freshman's guide ha!
Hi, I've always wanted to blog but I just couldn't find the right words to say or expressing my opinions about something. To me, blogging looks cool like hey I'm a blogger and people read what I actually write, I can't even get much attention when I talk to my friends! How did I end up being a communication student when I couldn't even communicate?
Well that's not the reason why am I writing right now. I thought of deleting all the posts for my previous course, BBK3410 and leave my blog empty for the next course that requires me to blog. But somehow, I think it might be useful for my future juniors to read (or simply get the idea of what to write) for BBK but all you need to know is, you have to write 14 blog posts. That's it. Get it done if you're in your first week of lecture. 'Wow' your lecturer ha gitu haha. Also, another reason is because when I got to know my UPU result, I googled UPM Communication and found nothing. I couldn't find seniors who blog about this course. I was scared to death 'cause all I wanted to know was about orientation week and COLLEGE.
*If you were a TESLian, good luck adapting to your new college hihi.
As I'm writing this, I'm in my 2nd semester. I enjoyed every sec of my 1st semester, it was fun and I gained a lot after entering UPM. Funny. I like UPM. A lot. Even the first day of my orientation week, I had fun! Shook. Yes, UPM's orientation week was waaaaay much further more way idk way 100 percent way better than MDS. I mean, the real MDS haha my orientation was at Lendu, Malacca back in 2015. I heard MDS Dengkil was fun too, obviously.
I miss orientation a lot while studying, simply because at that time, we didn't have much to worry like assignments, due dates, lax and etc. The seniors are the loveliest people ever, no kidding. Back in UiTM, we were scolded a lot by the seniors for sleeping, for being late for etc for the things we didn't do 'cause, 'kerana nila setitik rosak susu sebelanga' but I miss MDS too sometimes lol and I miss UiTM a lot hahaha.

Entering my 2nd semester is something I don't really look forward to, being apart from my friends, the whole class I mean. As a communication student, you'll get to know your major after seating for a 'psychology test' (idk that's what they called it).
There are 4 majors:
- Broadcasting
- Journalism
- Corporate Communication
- Human Communication

Soooo, hi. I'm studying Bachelor of Communication (Journalism). My first sem was splendid. Well, i learnt the basics, the gist of communication. It's not that hard.
I can't guide you or give study tips as I myself, stumbled HAHA.
(Junior masuk september tapi february dah post what even)
UPDATE:
As you're reading this, I am no longer a first year student oh no i feel old. Second sem was a bit tough, well it was my mistake i would study last minute and all. But hey, what's uni without activities? So I guess I have to know how to balance between uni and study which being me, I couldn't even ride a bike cause yknow, no balance. But feel free to email me if you have any inquiries and I'll reply.
